2. The name Psideralica is unique reminds me of modern day cybernetic vampire, Is there a mystical meaning tied in with your band name?
Efectivamente buscábamos un nombre único, una palabra que no existiera, y se escogió PSIDERALICA de entre varias opciones porque nos gustó su sonoridad y porque se le podía dar un significado cibernético, rockero y agresivo.
Indeed, we wanted a unique name, a word that did not exist. We chose the name Psideralica of several options because we liked their sound and because he could give meaning cyber rocker and aggressive.
3. I really dig your new video “My Toy,” the lyrics and imagery reminds me of virtual romance, is that the intent of this video?
Muchas gracias, y sí, has acertado!!! Nos inspiramos en la película “GAMER” de los directores Mark Neveldine y Brian Taylor: una película muy recomendable. Nos gustó mucho el concepto y pensamos que podía encajar bastante bien con la canción, en la que el personaje informático controla al avatar de Lady Marian en un mundo virtual.

We were inspired by the movie "GAMER".
We liked the concept and we could fit well with the song, in which the player controls the avatar of Lady Marian in a virtual world.
4. Where on location was this video filmed at and did the band have any help in the production and filming of “My Toy” video?
Parte del vídeo fue grabado en un parque de Palma de Mallorca (Spain), y parte en el desván de una sala de conciertos (Sala Assaig) de Palma de Mallorca. El video fue posible gracias a FREDERIC TORT de Uthologic, quien se encargó con la producción y postproducción. La verdad es que tener un profesional detrás de la cámara te facilita mucho el trabajo. Y cómo no, también contamos con colaboraciones de amigos que se prestaron a nuestro juego.
Part of the video was shot in a park in Palma de Mallorca (Spain), and partly in the attic of a concert hall (Room Essay) Palma de Mallorca. The video was made possible by the Uthologic FREDERIC TORT, who was charged with the production and post-production. If you have a professional behind the camera makes the job easier. And of course, we also have contributions from friends who were suitable for our game.
5. Is the song “My Toy” still being used for the internet promo Smit & Gum?
La versión demo de “My Toy” fue usada en un campaña promocional de SMINT & GUM en España, y la gente que se registraba en la web podía descargarse el tema. Esta campaña promocional actualmente ya ha finalizado.
The demo version of "My Toy" was used in a promotional campaign in Spain SMINT & GUM. People who are registered on the web could download the theme. This promotional campaign has now ended.
6. Congratulations’ on your new Album Neophobia, the songs and lyrics take the listener on a journey of relationships, cause and effect situations, and nurturing ones. They represent situations the listener goes through in everyday life. What inspired the band to write these songs are they personal issues the band members or their friends have gone through?
Hay canciones que efectivamente se inspiran en experiencias personales, y otras están inspiradas en situaciones que suceden o que podrían suceder a nuestro alrededor. Por ejemplo el tema “Little wings” habla sobre los abusos infantiles desde el punto de vista de la víctima. Las canciones nos sirven para expresar sentimientos, sensaciones que seguro compartimos con mucha gente. Es una manera de hacer llegar nuestro mensaje a todo el que quiera escucharlo.
There are songs that actually inspired by personal experiences, and others are inspired by situations that happen or could happen around us. For example the song "Little Wings" is about child abuse from the perspective of the victim. The songs are used to express feelings, feelings that surely share with many people.
7. Every song carries a different sound, some techno, electronic, industrial, metal a mix of alternative. I love Lady Marian’s vocals she carries a little twist of that 80’s pop everyone loves. Are your songs recorded live or are the instruments and vocals recorded separately in the studio?

8. Can you tell me how long the journey took to record all songs from the writing process and were there any challenges in mixing and mastering Neophobia?
El proceso de grabación y mezcla ha sido más largo de lo esperado por diversas circunstancias, cambios en la formación de la banda, circunstancias del productor y del estudio. Pero ha valido la pena la espera y estamos muy satisfechos con el resultado.
The recording and mixing process has taken longer than expected due to various circumstances and changes in the formation of the band. But it was worth the wait and we are very pleased with the outcome.
9. Have there been any offers from Movie companies to use songs off Neophobia, for a compilation sound track?
Por el momento no hay ninguna oferta en firme, es demasiado pronto todavía; nuestras editoriales están trabajando en ello.
At the moment there is no firm offer, is too early. Our publishers are working on it.
10. I detect a little bit of Rammstein , are they one of the bands influences?
Es una de nuestras bandas favoritas. Está claro que cuando compones un tema, aunque no busques sonar como un grupo en concreto, siempre están presentes las influencias de los grupos que sueles escuchar. Nuestros gustos van desde Rammstein y Nine Inch Nails hasta Rihanna o Madonna.
It is one of our favorite bands. Although not want to sound like a certain group, always present the influence of groups that you listen. Our tastes range from Rammstein and Nine Inch Nails to Rihanna and Madonna.
11. I could not believe the success of your song “This Is My Life” from your album Engel Der Nacht.

Es la canción que ha tenido más aceptación de nuestro primer album, ganó un concurso a nivel nacional en España, fue incluida en una serie de televisión en España “Quart, el Hombre de Roma” y en la película “Surfer Dude” de Matthew McConaughey.
Its composition was a before and after in the musical career of KERNEL, leaving his former band and founding Psideralica. Is the song that has been more accepting of our first album, it won a national contest in Spain, was included in a television series in Spain, "Quart, El hombre de Roma" and the movie "Surfer Dude” of Matthew McConaughey .

13. Observing how successful these songs are has the band considered just having their songs “My Toy” and “This Is My Life,” distributed as released as singles for promotional purposes, on a vinyl album as a limited edition?
At the moment the single “My Toy” is available for free downloading at www.psideralica.com, and maybe later, it will be available the new English version of “This is my life”.
14. Will the band be producing more music videos from their new Album Neophobia?
We hope so!!!
15. What are the bands hope to take Neophobia to the next level, does Psideralica have any tours planned for the remainder of 2010 and 2011?
De momento se están concretando fechas, pero habrá actuaciones por toda España, UK, México y allá donde Psideralica sea bien recibida.
Currently there are no specific dates, but there will be performances throughout Spain, UK, Mexico and wherever Psideralica be well received.
16. Are you working on new material at the moment and will the fans see live recording session teasers when you produce your new songs in the future?
Actualmente ya hemos empezado a componer nuevas canciones, pero todavía es pronto para iniciar las sesiones de grabación. Ahora lo importante es dar a conocer a la mayor cantidad de gente posible el album NEOPHOBIA.
Currently we have already begun to compose new songs, but it is too early to start the recording sessions. Now the important thing is to show as many people as possible NEOPHOBIA album.
17. What Album is the band most proud of Neophobia, Engel Der Nacht or Music Box, I am curious because Engel Der Nacht is a very successful album?
Estamos orgullosos de todos nuestros trabajos. Siempre hace más ilusión mostrar las nuevas canciones, e intentaremos que Neophobia tenga como mínimo la misma repercusión que Engel der Nacht.
We are proud of our work. Always show enthusiasm over the new songs, and we will try to NEOPHOBIA has at least the same impact that Engel der Nacht.
18. Has the band received any endorsements or sponsors from music companies or clothing companies that help promote the band’s name on their merchandise?
Estamos en ello, pero es complicado encontrar sponsors si no eres una mega estrella.
We're on it, but it is difficult to find sponsors if you're not a mega star.
19. What are Psideralica’s goals for the future things the band members want to accomplish in the next 3-5 years?
Si se piensa sólo en el futuro, dejas de vivir el presente!!!. De momento lo importante es Neophobia. En el futuro esperamos seguir disfrutando grabando discos, vídeos y actuando en el mayor número de lugares posibles. Lo importante es mantener la ilusión, en el momento en que se pierde y te conviertes en funcionario de la música, lo mejor es dejarlo.
